Hints for Truck Camping

Truck Camper magazine has wonderful, experienced tips. I latched on to this suggestion since I may not have solar and a house battery. So smart with those little bits of velcro.

Velcro straps were added to organize the wires of the devices I needed to charge on a regular basis.

I kept reading and found this great hint: Put chicken wire over front grill. I would cover the headlights, too. Oh that would save a lot of problems with very little money.

I put a film of chicken wire on the front of my truck grill using electrical plastic ties to help prevent rocks from getting through. I also carried along Rad stop to pour in the radiator if a rock did make it through and put a hole in the radiator. Rad stop helps to plug the holes.
