How to be warm and bug free while truck camping?

This solution looks a bit casual, but fast. I am still toying with the idea of pvc roll ups. One for screen, one for privacy and warmth. As soon as the topper becomes a reality I will measure and figure and scratch my head. If the topper is aluminum the attachments are one way; if the topper is fiberglass the attachments are another way.

Regardless. Warmth, shade, privacy and bug-free are important. How do you deal with these necessities?
