Prepping for the Next Leg

In March or April I will continue the truck camping journey. Its time to take a look at the first iteration and think about “dialing it in”.

I have almost the same DCU as you. I insulated it and everything. If you are on Facebook, send me a member request to Tin Tramper Travels. A members only facebook site for my travels and pics of the build.I built it to travel to Alaska and camp where ever I wanted to camp. It worked out great. Look at the pics. Or send me an email and I will send you pics. I could build one for you, if you would like to hang out in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Why, because I love your life and I am retired and have to much time on my hands!

Thanks for the info, Robin. I am happy with the set up I have … so far… I am not on Facebook. How long did you stay in Alaska?

The entire trip took around 2 months, we were in AK for about a month. It was a constant state of “wow”! At times I rued the fact I wasn’t a poet, the country was so beautiful. I enjoy your blog, if you ever swing by central Kentucky you are welcome to our guest room and a very hot shower.

Robin, that trip sounds so yummy. I am glad to hear that you traveled in a set up like mine. I hadn’t seriously considered going to Alaska, but you have gotten me to consider the trip to Alaska. Right now Kentucky is not in the plans … but you know how flexible plans are. Thank you so much for your kind invitationI

So right, it is a personal process preparing ones nest, even when that nest is on wheels. Good thing Pic, that you have until spring…or so… :-) Date: Sun, 6 Dec 2015 03:36:07 +0000 To: marliselbers@hotmail.com
