I started this blog with my process of deciding how to camp in the back of a truck and hints about how easy it is to live in the back of a truck. I have run out of hints. It has been fun to figure things out and share them. But now what? There are no more hint.
I am going to stop blogging since I have run out of hints. So, go out and camp. You will figure it out. Start your own blog and share your hints and experiences.
Thank you for reading and commenting over the past 4 years. I will be camping in the back of Lilith. Hope to see you on the road some day!
I enjoyed telling my wife as we looked for bedtime reading, “here’s a new one from Pickett.” Thank you for that. Satisfying for us on several levels in the moment and day to day. And now on to something new. Hope to see you out there.

I’ve been lurking here for a couple of years and this has been a great blog, Thanks for sharing your preparation and part of your journey. Please keep it online as I’m sure I’ll be referring to it when I’m ready to start my own long term truck camping trip.

Dear friend,
You will be sadly missed online as well as in Woody Creek, Pickett. Perhaps you’d rather read news than write stories ? If so, give us a format to reach out and say we miss you. Which we damn well do. Be well. xoxo Jane

I agree with Michael above. I’ve so enjoyed hearing about your travel/camping hints. Why not rename your blog & keep going for all of us who love you & who want to know something about where you’ve been & some of your experiences.
Hope you will reconsider old friend!!

So sad to hear you are quitting your blog. I have never commented before ,but follow you religiously and look forward to each of your posts. We met about 2 years ago at Burro bridge campground, me and my wife both enjoyed visiting with you very much. I know I can speak for others besides my self in saying you have a gift with words, and it would be a shame to stop sharing that. I look forward to your comments and the inspiration to get out there and see the world. Maybe instead of stopping your blog you should just change the name….you will be missed dearly!!
